Written Description - Physical Appearence

The ideal Siamese cat is medium sized, svelte, refined cat with long tapering lines, very lithe but muscular. males may be proportionately larger. The body is of medium size. It is a long and graceful cat.It has fine bones and firm muscles. The neck is long and slender. The legs are long and slim, the hind legs are higher than the front. The coat is short, fine and glossy. Siamese fur darken with age.

Colours

The Siamese cat has four main colours:

Seal Point : The body is an even pale fawn to cream. The colours shade gradually into lighter colour on the chst and stomach. The points are deep seal brown. The eyse are coloured deep vivid blue. Chocolate Point : The body is ivory with no shading. The points are milk-chocolate colour. The eyes are coloured deep vivid blue. Blue Point : The body is a bluish white gradually blending into white at the chest and stomach. The points are a deep ble. The eyes are coloured a deep and vivid blue.

Temprament

The Siamese are known for their talking. They have been described as the most talkative cats. They love people. They will jump up for love onto your lap, on your bed onto the table and indeed into your heart. The Siamese cat may have come from the ancient kingdom of Siam where it may have been given as a royal gift.
